Tilton Police Station

Cowan Goudreau Architects has recently completed the design for the new police station for the Town of Tilton, NH.  Cowan Goudreau was initially hired in 2010 to assist the Town in finding the appropriate site for a public safety complex to house both police and fire departments.  Eventually, the Town opted to separate the two departments and pursue the police station as it had the greater need.  Multiple sites and designs were done in the years leading up to 2018, when the Town’s residents passed a warrant article for the Town to purchase a piece of property and for CGA to design a police station that would meet the programmatic needs of the department.

The station is designed to be approximately 12,000 sf on one level, with all the functionality needed to conduct modern day law enforcement activities for the Town of Tilton, NH.  Design has been completed (November, 2019), and construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2020 pending a successful bond vote.
